My 5-year-old just came to me and looked at the monitor while I was writing my last response. After less than 5 seconds of looking at the screen, he wanted to know why there is a spider web in the upper left corner of the page. I never noticed it before he mentioned it!

TheDiamondangel, try to find a diamond caught or woven into it

...or imagine diamonds as a web to ensnare flying dudes and chicks.

Leonid,

I noticed the spider web a few weeks ago and thought “what’s a spider web doing on a site about diamonds?” Until you mentioned it, I didn't realize that there was a round brilliant smack dab in the center of the web. Its a pretty slick and trick graphic.

Duh, caught in the web, yet again…

Well that makes 2 of us! Actually I noticed the web only recently as well. Don't feel too bad DiamondAngel.

How about this picture on the front page?

I always thought it meant diamonds on the web. Spiderweb signifies the web or internet.

I'm a poet but could not tell
A diamond was hidden in the "web" so well.

Just like jlim -
I thought it was clear
It was a symbol of the medium we're using here!

very interesting Leonid!

I thought it was simply a diamond emitting rays of light. I didn't receive a spider web.
