Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can offer some advice on the diamond listed below. This forum has been recommended to me by a friend and any help anyone can provide would be great. :)

I am particularly worried about the depth - as it may be too deep. Let me know your thoughts and if the price is okay.

This stone could look very good.
It could show a light amount of leakage, visible or not to the naked eye.
It is on the deep side, but the make is fine (EX/EX).
I don't know if the price is right.
Did you see it?
Do you have a picture?

I personally feel that is a bit deep and will not face up as large as some others with similiar carat weight.

ditto QM - could be fine, could be visibly leaky w/ stereo vision, depends on exactly how the stone is proportioned - which we can't say anything about with certainty from GIA's averaged, rounded numbers.

A picture would help - or your thoughts if you have seen it in person, as Stephan says.

Thanks for the quick replies!

No haven't seen it in person..
I am in Australia - and considering the crazy prices here - I have decided to get it from US sight...

So I only have the reports to go by..

Attached is the GIA Drawing of the diamond if it helps.

Also, there was one other I am interested in which is more expensive, but would really like an opinion on.
