Interesting... I have watched his site, does he have more inventory? I have seen his name enough times that is someone I would take a leap with even though he is not stateside.

I don't have an intimate knowledge but from what I understand they have more stones in reserve and will work with your budget to source. It can't hurt to reach out.

That one is super wonky and for that price I’d keep looking.

Mine is a tad wonky too (had to accept some flaws given the size and colour I wanted) but the one you posted is quite off centre.

Will gladly adopt it if you get tired of it.

Yvonne told me once that all sapphires have a bit of a shift, and shifting towards purple is very common. I suppose it’s possible to find a pure blue. But cameras tend to emphasize blue over other tones so it’s hard to know what any stones we see on PS look like it person. I personally would tend to focus on what I find beautiful with less focus on color hue per se, but I guess it depends on how long a hunt one desires or can tolerate! And one’s budget.

Ha! I enjoy the hunt, to a limit. I guess I haven't reached it yet.
