After a nice green jade cabochon

I just checked the bangle. It is a very pale lavender, greyish colour! I shall start a new thread tomorrow!

I also have frozen mulberries I can use and they stain badly but I wonder if their tone is too reddish?
 
Maybe blueberries. I would hate that the mulberry stained you bangle a pinkish red. Or mix. With blueberry. So you get a purple (my science is so bad).
 
I think blueberry is used because it obtains the color of natural lavender jadeite. Other colorants may give it a color not naturally occurring to jadeite.
 
My resolve has not shaken 3 days in but guys *wails*

You posted the trailer for Ruyi's Royal love and I watched the first episode...and the next and the next and the next. I'm obsessed! It's ruined me! I think I can say 'your majesty' in Chinese. Ah-choo! Ah-choo! I'll bow and sneeze for my husband and he loves it!

Take a look at Empress Ki.,.,.. goodness, I went on a 48 hour marathon with that one!!!

What I have learnt after watching all these palace series is that you want to make it to Empress Dowager! Then you're top dog! No one can touch you and since the old Emperor you're married to is dead you don't have to worry about his whims anymore! The ruling Emperor has to respect you because you're his Mamma!

Story of Yanxi Palace. I cannot stop watching that. It’s old, though, I only got into it after Ruyi.

It's a ridiculous and cheap series but SUPER popular and very joyful! So funny!

ETA: I can't find an English subtitled version of Yanxi!!!! Driving me crazy!!! I wanna watch it!
 
Well, I’ve finished Ruyi. Hahaaha the Empresses of the Palace is on Netflix. I’m also checking Yanxi. I’ve searched the background an many characters do exist in historical texts although the circumstances in the stories most likely are fiction though there are details kept according to history.
 
Empresses in The Palace was awesome! Such a great rise to power story!

I wiki-ed all the people so I went into Ruyi knowing how it was all going down and being quite wary but the acting and production made up for it.

I watched the ending again yesterday just to bawl for a bit! There are a few final scenes I loved so much!

I think, at the lower range, the colour and translucency might not be like this if it is from FB lady. Most of my stuff from her have been true to video and pictures. However, the buddhas, one of them came with a green cab that looked super on her FB page but was dull in colour. The buddha itself was very good, even better than her picture. The green cab was not. I don't know why.
