Yes they are ibis. They might look exotic but they actually nest in rubbish dumps. The are in plague proportions here on the Gold Coast as the tourists feed them thinking they are exotic!Date: 4/17/2009 9:06:14 AM

AJ Deelight and any others Aussies I go to Melbourne all the time as my sis lives there but my BFF lives in Perth so.........
I can go there but it is lots more $++++++and lots more time5 + hours for me.
AJ sorry as much as I love your ring are they Ibis''s in your photos?
We class them as vermin here and your ring deserves much more elegant company *ducks head and runs for cover*
we''ll see how it goes

Okay, so I had to comment again because I''m completely enthralled with your gorgeous garnet and JM''s amazing setting. If I come into any money in the near future, a beautiful gemstone in a JM setting is very, very high on my list of wants. (Just FYI, KB is accepting donations now.)
Hi, thankyou lovesparkles ! Exactly on the stone and settingDate: 4/18/2009 6:36:42 AM

And as far as putting a lower priced stone in a higher priced setting - I get it! Its a gorgeous stone and now it will be safe in a gorgeous ring!
