1 & 2 are not as flattering as the long dresses. #4 is great but the back side criss-crosses don''t give you the elongation that #3 does. I also think #4 doesn''t scream "Grand Canyon"...it''s more like a Caribbean beach wedding dress.

Definitely #3.

My vote is for #3! It looks stunning on you...definitely flatters your figure the most of all of them! I don''t think it''s too bridal/princessy either, it still looks casual enough.

I think that #3 is beautiful and completely flattering on you. i love the neckline -- however, my most favorite is #2 --especially if it is a more casual CO wedding.

Personally, I love the fingertip veil. It looks great on you and it looks fabulous with the dress.

I like the fingertip length on you too. It not too short so it doesn''t cut you off in the middle, but it''s not too long so it''s not too overwhelming for you or for the style of your wedding.

Call me crazy, but because of the small casual wedding and the fact that it's outdoors, what about a little birdcage veil or short face veil? I think it would be good in case the day is windy and you won't be covering up those pretty shoulders that your dress accentuates. It's also a little less formal so it won't make the dress too formal (you seemed to be concerned about that). Just my $0.02.

I had to laugh at this, because, I wasn''t going to wear a veil at all until I saw photographs of a bride wearing one at an outdoor wedding and it was blowing in the wind. There was something so etherial about it that I decided I must have one! Just goes to show, different strokes, etc.

LizzieC, I love number three! It is going to look just gorgeous on you in your outdoor setting!

I ordered the dress & veil yesterday (Valentine''s Day!). Such a relief! I''m definitely glad I went with #3. Trying it on again I had the little "OMG-I''m-getting-married!-moment" that I''d been waiting for! Oh, BTW I went with a veil very very similar to the one in the pic... instead of rows of crystals on the edges, it has a thin line of teeny tiny white sequins on the edge which coordinate perfectly w/ the dress. Yay!

Tybee- I feel the same way about the veil in the wind thing... I saw a beach wedding pic w/ the veil just flowing and thought it looked so fantastic!

Chargergrrl- The dress is by Watters... actually all the dresses I ended up trying on at the first store (and pics 1-3) were Watters... I definitely recommend them if you''re looking for something a little different!

Hi gals!

I resurrected this old thread just to say that I had my first fitting today! I was SO worried that the dress wouldn''t fit because they ordered a size that sounded way too small... but it fit perfectly! Watters dresses must run really big. Anyway, I don''t have pics b/c I forgot my camera (I know... sacrilege

)... but I''ll be sure to take one to my second fitting in a couple of weeks!

Lizzie you have a fab figure girl!!

#3 all the way for me. It seems PERFECT on your body, it makes you look taller, shows off your small waist and is classy and weddingy but not too girly.

I love it. I am not a fan of shorter dresses so I am not into #1 or #2 at all and #4, I didn't like the criss cross back thing, to me that's not wedding-enough if that makes sense. Too risque-ish I guess.

But I adore #3!

EDITED TO ADD THAT I FEEL LIKE A DUMBASS because I just saw this post was three pages long and three months old. UGH! Well at least you got #3!! I'm sure it looks fabulous!
