CustomCushion: Jim Rohn is a great speaker! How did you hear about him? Nikken?

I actually had the opportunity to study with Mr Rohn last year for 2 days in Texas. I was introduced to him by a speaker named Richard Robbins who had studied under him previously.

What Mr Rohn taught me has made me a fortune. Work harder on myself than I do on my job! If I change, things will change for me. For things to improve, I must improve.

FI doesn''t have a college degree, but he does have two trade diplomas under his belt. And he makes more money after 3 years on the job market than I probably will my whole life... WITH my college degree.

It''s not too late to get a college degree DF. Not that you need one, you have more knowledge than most recent college grads. If you went back to school, you could get a senior discount!! Heck at this point, you could teach the classes.

can''t afford the tuition.

DF! Really, is that helpful since I do not know how old you are?

I have part of one.
My Dad mentions just about every time he''s in my office, that he still can''t get over the fact that I have my own business, even after I dropped out of college (majoring in business) haha!

You are not alone

I am too tired for guessing games. Color tv did not really exist til the 1950''s...just give me more of a ball park please!

Thank you Linda. He is not THAT much older than I am. But hey, tonight I went to a club in Philly. I met Pat Burrell who is a Phillies player and had two guys under 30 hit on me and two friends while our hubbies were getting drinks. So maybe I am a lot younger!!! But really, I have a masters degree, a few of my friends have graduate degrees but not many. Most of my friends complete four years of college, but not all of them.

don''t you ladies know it is rude to ask other people''s age?

They did not see it, it was dark and I had my hand down my side and I was holding a sweater so it covered it. My two friends and I were hysterical, here we were, three gals over 40, with 6 kids all together, in this happening night club and these two young guys stopped right there to chat with us.

Caroline, I would be sooooooooooooo flattered!!!

I had a previous neighbor come on to me. He was 12 years younger than me. He was a jerk.

Dancing Fire. It is rude to ask a woman her age, NOT a man, tee hee !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, DF! It is rude to ask a woman, plus when you drop hints you have to expect someone might ask!

Yea and it is OK if we ask MEN their age is what I meant to say.

He''s close to my age: somewhere between 48 and 52. I can tell by his cultural references and his wedding pictures (1982 I think). Does that help?

I''d tell you to check out my wedding photo, but my photog was a genius at ''tweaking'' off the years from our faces. Now if only she had photoshopped my behind in a few pictures, like the infamous Katie Couric CBS ads!

more like early 60''s. right Linda ?

Color tv was around in the 1950''s in limited amounts and few people could afford the color televisions. However a few shows were filmed and offered in color in the 1950''s.
