Any thoughts? My inspiration is a mogul style and I think Lee has taken this idea into a whole new world. I love it! I think My zircon will love it's new home :)

Hmm, that was small. Trying this again:

This is for you? Really neat CAD. Is the black metal oxidized gold? The top view looks like a very pretty blue flower.

Yes for me. Just not a fan of traditional men's rings.

If this is for you, how about doing away with the diamond halo? My opinion (and feel free to totally ignore it!) is that it's a bit "girly" with the halo. I suspect without the diamonds it'll be more "he man"! Hope I haven't offended you? An alternative is to have black diamonds in the place of the white ones? Just a thought!

I like the mix of metals - very cool.

Well I'm going for a maharaja sort of thing lol! So I'm ok with the halo

Awesome!!!

And good for you being secure enough in your manhood to not fear other people's associations.

When wearing it if you get any funny looks show em what a man you are.
Just unzip your pants.

That is one elaborate ring! Good luck!

[Disclaimer: people vary; just because Kenny would show off the family jewels doesn't mean you have to... ;)) ]

I love this, very awesome! :appl:

I would consider making the petal prongs around the topaz in either yellow gold or white gold, or tone it down to regular prongs or a bezel. The stone is lovely, no reason to hide it's light under a black bushel.

If it were me, I'd ask him for a full front shot (with some element to check the measurement), and then print it out and "try it on". That always gives me a better sense of scale when I'm dealing with internet purchases.

I love the one with all that extra black on it, even underneath. Fabulous!

Looks like it is becoming a trend - first Harry, now Kenny.

Great design work!

If it were me, I'd go with the design of the 1st pic but switch out the shoulder detail to the plain diamond wrap shown on the 3rd and 4th pics - and maybe check that the wrap detail won't hit right between your fingers?

I especially *love* the black metal undergallery of the 1st pic - gosh, can't wait to see the completed ring!

Kenny, just to be clear, I thought the ring was feminine with the halo and I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with that whatsoever but I just wanted to point it out in case Soberguy hadn't thought of it.

Soberguy - we'll have to call you Raj Sober from now on!!!!

marymm: I'm definitely going to take your advice in regards to the fleur de lis placement. Make sure it's not in a bad spot. I like the black "petal" prongs on the zircon because I think it's reminiscent of an older maharaja ring I saw in London :)

Freaking A love it!!!!! You have my vote!

LD, all perspectives coexist.
You have don't nothing wrong, IMHO.
Sorry if it came across that way.

It is just the world we live in.

Love it. Going to be spectacular. Very maharaja indeed! Prefer the first pic. Are you worried at all about putting a zircon in a ring?

No worries Kenny - I didn't stop to think how my comments could have been interpreted and when I read your response I was shocked that anybody might think that of me. As you say, it's the world we live in. For me I don't care about race, religion, sexuality and it's all about the person. xxx

VelouriaL: I've been wearing this zircon daily for around five years. Just had a repolish. I'm very active outdoors and have never had a single chip. Just a little facet abrasion. Only noticeable by me lol! I have never had an issue.

HI:

Gorgeous! Rock it!!

cheers--Sharon

That's going to be some ring! Amazing cads and looking forward to seeing the completed ring on your hand.

I just adore it when someone gives their jeweller permission to create a piece of art for them, rather than just another piece of jewellery. I love the first rendering. It's going to be absolutely stunning when it's finished.

Stunning!!

i love it and would wear it...i'm not into this "its a guy ring" thing at all....i call dibs should you ever decide to sell it, soberguy.

Doubtful MZ, but I'll let you know lol

Of the 2, I prefer the first. It looks more Gothic and very different, as long as the side embellishment is comfortable. It looks a bit longish so I don't know how far down it will extend.

I think I'm about to pull the trigger : )

This will be a great looking ring SG, it is really nice to something unique and interesting being created, love the blackend metal too!

I have been thinking about a ring for myself for ages now and seeing this makes me want one even more.
