I read this when it first came out. Great article. I like to think I would have stopped but I probably wouldn''t have either!

What a wonderful story! I can only imagine what it must have been like to listen to him play among the rush. It makes me wonder why "celebrities" get so much media attention for merely walking down the airport, while true artists like Joshua Bell get overlooked.

I think I would have stopped to listen to the beautiful music but will listen for a while before realising that it is time to go and then I will have to tear myself away and telling myself that I wish I could stay and "wow, that guy is really really good!". If I was in a rush to go somewhere, I don''t think I would have stayed till he finishes, unless I am travelling leisurely.

i remember when that happened. i bet alot had to do with the location and the way he was dressed. most people are used to seeing a person playing music that isnt that great. nevermind that this music was great their eyes told them that it was just the same old music. i bet if he had been in a suit it would have made a big difference.
