I was randomly searching eBay and saw this mid 1800's Victorian bracelet.

I love the detailing in all these pieces. Each little curl of their bodies, tuck of their chin, etc. creates a totally different vibe. Sorry for my ignorance, but is there a backstory or special meaning to serpent pieces? I'm always up for a fun history lesson!
