I used Blotto this weekend... and it was a huge hit! It could possibly be the new up-and-coming word around Dallas, and I''ll be spreading it around Houston come this weekend!

As far as the one above, I''m not sure that one will flow off my tounge quite as smoothly. However, I love "Gerries Club". That''s adorable. Hehe!

I did not know there was a DeBeers store in the galleria until I was reading this and happened to see it when I was there with a friend on Friday so we walked in. OMG, A) It is really tiny (B) they have super special effect lighting and (C) the selection was very redudant, lots of simple solitaires and minimal pave, however they did have some super thin/delicate pave eternity bands.

appletini the DB store was an interesting visit when we were in there. the lighting was CRAZY. as were prices! but fun to visit.

The sales people at De Beers are actually really nice. Yes, their store is really tiny...and most of the time, I never see a single customer inside. The couple of times I''ve been in there to look, it was always just me (my DH) and the sales people. Regardless, they have always been very accommodating about letting me try on their larger solitaires (right on the counter, no moving to a separate room like at Tiffanys).

How lucky you are to come in person to pick up your ring from WF!!! Just read your post....I''m in houston as well, got the WF e-ring...and got married this past weekend!!! Will try to meet for the Houston PS get together!! How exciting for you!!! There''s lots to do in Houston...shopping, eating, sightseeing...gotta put in my vote for Benjy''s for brunch!!!! Keep us posted on the details for the get together!!! Can''t wait to see your new bauble!!!

I will definitely keep everyone updated on the plans. I arrive on Thursday 24th July and we are meeting on Saturday 26th. Not sure where but I am sure someone will think of somewhere.

How exciting. I wouldn''t recommend renting a car, since we drive on the opposite side of the road here. Unless that wouldn''t be a problem for you.

NEAT!!! There are some spots in the Galleria Mall, if we want to tour in and out of the stores. La Madeleine (inexpensive, french bistro/cafe), Cheesecake Factory (extensive menu). There is also a Ruggles inside the 2nd floor of Saks...never been though.. There are places outside but near to the mall. Hotel Derek''s Bistro Moderne, California Pizza Kitchen, Sage 400 (sushi), Grand Lux Cafe (doesnt take reservations though), La Vista (bring your own wine), there''s sooooo many options in Houston...im sure we''ll figure it out as your arrival nears!!! Can''t wait!!!

Driving on the opposite side of the road would be a problem for me! Its hard enough driving here let alone there lol!!! I will get taxis!
