Any ideas on how to set my Kunzite?

I recently purchased a lovely pink Kunzite, but need some good ideas on how to set this stone.

It is a slightly oblong cushion cut about 4.6cts, or so.

Sorry the picture's small but that's the only one I have. I wish I could have made it a ring, but that's too impractical. I figure a necklace will be the smartest option, but anyone want to give some ideas on how to set it and with what designs or other stones...

I do not prefer to set in platinum for necklaces, so it will be white gold, and I like classic clean looks, but would certainly like to try something bold or interesting... HELP!

I agree with not setting it in a ring. I have a kunzite ring but i have to wear it with caution all the time. Why did the jeweler agree to set it??
