I''ve seen nice ones on line that ''flicker'' and even come wax coated
pillars and candlesticks.

Reason is, the chapel is a historic building, won''t allow open flame, but there is a great mantle dying for some candles!

They would be from a distance, nobody would probably notice....and I like the idea, but have never seen one in real life.

Might just order one to check it out.

Is this totally tacky? I may just go without...but we''ll see

thanks!

I have seen them, and I think that close up they look tacky just because you can tell they aren''t real... BUT if you turn them on and the people are far away, then they probably won''t even notice they aren''t real candles because from a distance the can be *pretty* convincing, although I remember that I could not figure out if the candle was lit, or if it was just "on" cuz the light looks different. I think now that they have battery operated candles that flicker, which makes it more believable. If it were me... I would find something else to put in that space, but of course it is up to you. Good luck!

yeah,
i am thinking i will try to put something else there. now that i investigated and they cost over $20 each!
there is a bridal show at the museum next weekend, where the florists will have the little church decorated,
so i''ll see what ideas they have.
