This was me being goofy the other day (Friday I think) V is quite then and has very short hair (1/8"). Can you tell I am trying to avoid thinking about my finals?

I''m a college undergrad too, and I will also be by far the first one to get engaged in my group of friends. Some of them are even older than me, but they''re not there at all in their lives. Most of them don''t even care about marriage anyway, so... Most Quebecker women don''t wear big engagement rings either (the average is around .25, .33 ct); a lot of them don''t even have diamonds. *shrugs* I''m not exactly known for following standards, so bring on the 1.00 tcw 18k/plat trellis five stone!!

Well this is my finals week so I am home all day to study and work on my CV and grad applications. But V is on the quater system so he is in class tonight until 8:30pm his time. He had not received the pictures when he left for classes this morning and I dont like to call him while he is in class.
He read this thread last night and teased me. He also said that he might come and post pictures of the head at least on this thread. I hope he will! Of course I am still hoping that he will e-mail them to me, but if he wants it to be a surprise I will try to understand...I want him to ask girl-soon. Like as soon as he walks through the door.

No photos! It is 8pm our time and 9 Vs time. I dont think that we will be getting any photos today....
We were told the ring would be finished today and that pictures would be sent. V sent an email earlier today to see what was going on, no response or pictures as of yet.

At this point in the season our volume is tremendous - so we surely want to get it finished, kissed on the cheek and sent home to you. However, we refuse to rush any of the details. Extreme care is being taken to assure the highest quality at every step. Once our demands are satisfied you will have those photos.

I''m hoping there is a ring in the works for me- reading this made me think... I don''t think BF has any idea how big my fingers are. I inherited my dad''s hands; my ring finger is about a size 8-9. Although he knows the class ring on my middle finger is a size 10!

Miss Lesley, who works very late, sent V pictures last night. He is quite keen to see it in person, and wrote back to have it sent out to him today.

Sorry ladies (and gents!) but no photos. He sent me two little cropped shots, one of the stone and one one the prongs on the head, but I could not really see the prongs, since there was not head on shot.
The first shot of the arrows all lined up looks like a maltese cross, which I thought was spiffy.
The second shot was mostly the side veiw of the diamond.

He said that I cannot see what the ring looks like until he proposes which seems resonable to me. I am soo exctied I cannot wait to here what he thinks of the ring in person!

Thanks to everyone, I am trying not to babble endlessly to everyone around me about how excited I am. I have not told people that he has the ring or any of that for fear of jinxing things.

Oh Mat, I would hardly be able to sleep. I sure hope he''s one of those guys who can''t hold on to things very long and proposes soon. Whenever he does it though I know it''s going to be very a very special time for both of you.
