Haha no, most of us just like looking at sparkly eye candy and are too lazy to actually comment. I know I''m definitely guilty of that all the time.

The ring is really beautiful. What a unique setting. It''s an art deco setting, no? I''m still learning all the different antique styles.

Either way its beutiful, she''s gonna love it! Do you have the proposal planned?

Yes, exactly. I was going for an Art Deco look. I know she loves Bezel settings and I couldn''t find an actual antique setting. So, instead, i bought an Old European Cut diamond and then had an antique/art deco setting made and bezel set.

I''m not sure...it literally took me like a year to find and put together a ring. Now that i have it, I really, really want to expedite this proposal. I''m thinking in the next couple of weeks

Thank you all VERY much for the kind responses. I can''t tell you how big of a relief it is to hear compliments on it. I really poured everything into finding this. And I''m so nervous. I''ve taken it with me everywhere for the last 4 days. When I was on my way to pick it up (last Friday) I thought I was going to get sick, I was so nervous. The setting is originally a prong setting that I had modified into a bezel. I also added 4 more diamonds down the side. In essence, there were a lot of things that could have gone wrong with so many modifications. but, when I opened it, i was really impressed. And i''m really un-impressible. Here are the specs:

Old European Cut Daimond. GIA Certified J color, SI 2 clarity, 1.28 carats.
Setting is a WhitehouseBrothers modifed prong setting in 14kt White Gold with an additional .55 carats on the setting
