Yes, it''s an OEC. So the stone is old...but the setting is new-ish

Wow, looks GREAT!

WHOA! You did an phenomenal job creating this ring! I love it! I am a big fan of OEC''s and bezels, add in the Art Deco look and it is gorgeous! She is going to love this e-ring!

So beautiful! I love the vintage feel.

It reminds me of Christina Aguilera''s ring. Very fun, and what a neat art-deco design! She''ll love it :)

**Sigh** I want this. Seriously.... if she says ''no''? Kidding - HOW COULD SHE? This is absolutely gorgeous. Best of luck with everything!

wowza that is definitely breathtaking! absolutely beautiful!

Hey everyone...so last night I was looking at the ring again and i showed it to a firend. He loved it, but i asked him, "Do you think the center stone is big enough?" He responded with, "yeah man...it only looks a little smaller b/c it is in that setting (Bezel). My question is; do you think that the center stone of this ring is big enough?

oh yeah! Most women are lucky enough to get a .75! She will be way thrilled. Hurry and give it to her, we need handshots!!

I''m desperately trying to formulate my proposal. Her work schedule keeps throwing me for a loop, though. I want her to be off the day I propose AND the day after. I''d hate to propose, have a great day and then her have to wake up and go in to work the next day, ya know?

That''s an awesome size and it doesn''t look small at all! You have nothing to worry about! As for your proposal, is it possible for you to speak with her boss and see if she could get the day off? If not the whole day off, maybe have a half a day off or propose on a Friday night. You could possible kidnap her (speak to the boss) and take her out of work early and then do your thing? See if the boss would be ok. It just might work out the way you want it to.

Yeah, maybe I can try and talk to her boss. As it stands she is off Friday and Sunday of the week I want to do it...so if I can switch her from being off Sunday to Saturday, it could work

Thanks again everyone. As soon as I give it to her (barring her saying yes), i will certainly take some hand shots. Actually, i''ll take hand shots even if she says no.

Ponder,
I''ll keep you posted...if she says no, i''ll be back on the market. i''ll be an emotional mess that no girl would ever want to talk to...but i''ll be back on the market with this ring nonetheless

Bahaha! Don''t worry I don''t think anyone could say no to a ring like that.

You know, working the day after the proposal isn''t so bad. I''m pretty sure she''d be too excited and would want to show that ring off to her co-workers!

Propose in the evening before she has a day off! No problemo!

And the ring is gorgeous and not too small

Your friend is a dink for saying that

I think thats a great idea.

BTW - 1981 - how did the proposal go?

Hopefully with that ring you got a "YES"?

Wow....all sparkles....thats a beautiful setting. You''ve done such a wonderful job choosing the setting and the stone. How was the proposal?

Beautiful ring! Hope the proposal was perfect.

Lovely setting and diamond. She''s a lucky girl.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven''t posted an update. I just haven''t done it yet, that''s why. We have been super busy with other weddings so I haven''t had the time and I want it to be perfect. My plan is to do it October 30th. I am ironing out the details now. This ring is burning a hole in my pocket. I''m dying to give it to her
