HI:
Greg, is your pinky ring 2 single bands or one ring? At any rate, very rich color and another me lubs your rings!
cheers--Sharon
Thanx,again!!
That pinkie ring is 22kYG. 2 separate bands that are joined in one section. So, it is one ring in all intents.
A long story behind this ring which I posted elsewhere and gladly share again. It may be TMI, but I love the story!!!
This was given to me by a dear friend mimicking our lives...2 lives were in sync at that one moment in time. It was a little small, and it sat in my jewelry box for >23yrs! In Western Australia, I could not find Jewelers working with 22kYG. At that time, it was all 9k &18k.
Much (very much) later- my grandmother passed away (2017) just after our twins were born). she gifted my mum, and she gifted it to me a 22kYG wedding dress/ shirt button from my great great grand father (c1890). The style of the wedding shirt was buttons made of 22kYG, along the normal button front and the outline of the shirt. There were about 36 of them which have been distributed to all the “respective” offsprings. Recently, I found a jeweler that I trusted and could work with 22kYG. He converted that button to a pin for me. (I posted that pin on SMTB hehe). The remnant of that button was used to increase the size of that ring. Recycling at its best.
This ring is soooooo sentimental.
Since it was resized, I have worn it everyday...
Sorry for the long story!
