Yes, I do move fast, ladies... keep in mind we''ve been dating for over six years! I figure a three-month (or less?) engagement is just fine when you''re not putting on a big show that takes months to plan. Anyway, we decided to go ahead and get married this summer since I didn''t want to be planning a wedding during my first year of grad school (there will be enough stress as it is), and we both wanted a small wedding back home in rural Virginia with my family anyway. So, without further ado, here are some shots my brother took of my country wedding. First up, how we decorated the fellowship hall of my church (ivy theme, obviously)...

The buffet table and the cake--one of my neighbors made the cake for free as her gift to us, and we like to joke that the buffet was catered by Costco, seeing as how almost everything on it came from there...
