The new reset is spectacular. If I had a stone that big, the classy double baguettes would definitely be on my list. In fact, this was what I initially wanted for a radiant I was looking at - and it looks perfectly executed too. Double claw prongs, nicely angled baguettes.

I would love to see another profile picture when you have a chance.

And yes, easily a million times better than the original.

Hi iota15 :wavey: !

Thank you for the compliments! :D I am finding that my true personal preference is either a three stone ring or a solitaire. I really love the squarish stones and I think that baguettes compliment it quite nicely.

I will definitely get a side view for you tomorrow. :praise:

Here is a side shot iota15! Hope this helps! :D

Your E-ring change is one of the most dramatic and satisfying transformations I've seen in my time on PS. I'm so glad it "stuck," and that your ring now has lots of sparkly accessories! :appl:

Have you re-set your original E-ring setting?

Big improvement the other setting hurt my eyes ...

Thanks heididdl ! Improvement indeed!

Wow VRBeauty! Thank you for the very kind compliment. I am glad it stayed with me too! :D

It is so funny you mentioned the other ring because I did, in fact, have it reset with a stone. I decided after all the research, the information provided by the community and speaking to a few vendors, that a CS stone would not be practical for everyday use nor would any CS stone sparkle like a diamond no matter how it was cut.

I ended up placing close to a 9mm diamond GIA XXX stone. I had my local jeweler work with the setting as best as he could to modify the prongs, lower the setting and remove the diamonds from the top of the prongs. I really wanted the delicate claw prongs, but because of the design, it was not possible for him to achieve it the way I envisioned.

Under the circumstances, I think he did the best he could do to make it work.

I don't really like the new version. When I first saw the setting, I actually hated it and did not want to wear the ring - and actually did not wear it for awhile. I was very disappointed because I soooo wanted those delicate claw prongs! I eventually started to wear it again and am a little more adjusted to the setting now. It STILL gets MANY compliments when worn, even more so than my eRing! No one really even notices the new ring. :o People are just drawn to the original eRing for some reason.

I thought about posting it to show the efforts of what was done, but did not think it would be *post worthy*, especially since it was not a fav among the community.

I will eventually start all over and trade in both rings. I have had numerous conversations with SO and he knows I am not happy with the ring. He has agreed to let me do what I think I should do to be satisfied with my Ering. I think he is slowly giving up to what he considers my "jewelry obsession." We are working through what may be perhaps another change to the rings. I think this will be the opportune time to just start everything all over. So, we'll see how things go. :D
