Baltimore Get Together!!!

So how did your get together go? I hope you all had a great time and got the chance to admire lots of amazing jewelry!!! Wish I could have been there, but CA''s just too far away....

Good morning!! For all those interested, we had a fabulous time last night. I''m so sorry you missed us Buena Girl. I believe we were there for well over 3 hours. We had a great window table overlooking the harbor. The view was lovely, but we were so focused on each other and our baubles, we barely noticed.

After all appropriate introductions, we took turns oogling each others bling -- compared colors, cuts, sizes, vendors, and designs. It was really fun hearing the *story* behind each piece. The loupes and idealscope were moving around the table at a feverish pace. I know the surronding tables must have thought we were nuts! Our peppy waiter indulged us by taking pics of the group with each of our cameras. He did not seem to mind us holding his table up for so many hours. He must have known it was going to be a long night. We were so busy cackling over the jewels, it took him at least three visits to the table before we gave him our drink order. He never asked what we were all looking at so intensely -- for some reason he thought it was Nan''s birthday!!!

I''ll have my guru pull up my pics and post them here -- that is, as soon as I can rouse him from his coma.

Oh no!

Well, if you saw two people wandering around in gray hoodies(with college names on them) and jeans, that was probably me! My boyfriend stopped in with me. He had on a baseball cap. I had my hair pulled back into a long pony tail and was wearing diamond earrings.

I had asked the guys in the front when I first came in, but they weren''t sure who I was describing. Glad you all had so much fun!!!

I can''t believe I missed the loupes and ideal scopes!!! I was hoping some of you would bring yours so that I could check them out. I don''t have one and I''ve actually never even seen one. I am so curious to try one out because I read about them on hear all the time.

heheheee... Silly me, I was looking at people''s faces to see if I thought it was any of you. With all of the *bling* there, I should have been checking out people''s hands!!!

Hi All,

I just wanted to tell everybody that I had a great time! I felt like we had known each other for years. It is amazing to me that meeting people over internet could be so rewarding. I must admit that I am still amazed by all of the ladies incredible rings. The rings were so big, bright, beautiful, and no flaws just tons of sparkles. I''m so sorry we missed you Buena Girl but there is always next time! I can''t wait for the pictures to be posted.

My husband asked if the only chips were the ones served with salsa and I was happy to report yes. Everyone''s rings were amazing- seeing pics on PS in no way can do justice to seeing the real stuff.
