What is a "supernova" imperial garnet? I have never heard the term "supernova" used with garnets - can you educate me??

Ah, supernova is the name of this particular brilliant oval cut (as say opposed to a step cut oval which you more commonly see in "native" cut gems). That's the extent of my knowledge, lol. Oh, I also know that it makes the stone very sparkly!
