Beyond Happy!

Nope, not engaged...

BUT... FF is has been at a Christmas party (Men only) at the boat club (it''s actually a yacht club but I say boat club b/c no one there really has a "yacht") that his dad is a member of all day today and this is how a text convo went with him just a few minutes ago:

Me: I wish you were coming home tonight. I miss you.
Him: I sowwy. (hehe he''s cute!) But I''ll see you first thing in the am.
Me: Okay, well be safe and I love you.
Him: Will do. I love you too.

....a couple minutes pass with no texting as I thought our convo was done for the night....

Him: I was going to wait until tomorrow to tell you BUT... 10/10/2010 is reserved for us here at the boat club.
Me: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!
Him: Yes, I thought it''d be a nice surprise for you and to show you that the proposal is really coming soon. I love you!!
Me: OMG! I love you too!!!

AHHHH!!!!! I am SO excited!! Yes, we''d picked the date and only somewhat talked about how nice it''d be to have the wedding down at the boat club because it''s on the hudson river close to a lighthouse and not to mention, it''s going to be fall and all the trees down there are going to be so beautiful... BUT, I never expected him to do something so big as reserving a place for us!

I am so HAPPY!!!!!

I normally can''t either! He did this COMPLETELY on his own... and I think that''s why I am sooooo shocked!! I guess it goes to show you should never underestimate them!

Yeah, now I am just waiting for the actual question! I don''t have too much longer to wait but geez, it feels like it''s taking forever!! haha.

Haha, a state? You actually get to choose which state?

I have no choice but to get married here in NY. All our families are from around here... except some of his scattered in Georgia and mine in Virginia. But our immediate families are here so... it''s where we''re getting married!

But how lucky of you to get to choose between other states!
