IMO I would live with the ring as is for a while in the classic and beautiful platinum setting.
That's what I did for about 2 years after I got my ering before I reset it the first time LOL.
Well, I wasn't prepared at all (did no research at that time) and made a mistake so I finally reset it for the 3rd and last time 2 weeks ago after much deliberation!!

So, I think before you change the setting live with it for a while to make sure you really get the setting you truly want. It is a very difficult decision for sure as there are so many beautiful settings and so little time
