Absolutely! I have another thread where I talk about the story behind each piece but I will post the stories here.

This is the story behind the bracelets.

Ok clean and all sparkly! But as usual, pics don’t do justice! Let’s start off with my prized possession. I’ve had these for close to a year now and I am still swooning! The diamond bangles. I got these last year for my 45th ahem, 25th birthday (wink wink). The tennis bracelet I’ve had for 1.5 years and I love it just as well. I got the tennis bracelet during one of my darkest period in my life, but I survived! When I am feeling down, all I have to do is look at my right arm and I am instantly reminded that brighter days are ahead, pun intended

This is the story behind the earrings.

Next up are these earrings. I got them in November of 2019. I had won an Excellence in Teaching Award in August and I wanted to reward myself. Every time I wear these, I feel like Elizabeth Taylor lol. They actually get a lot of wear! Life is just too dang short y’all! Again, sparkles galore, although it’s hard to tell from the pic.

This is the story behind the necklace.
And last but not least, my 11 carat diamond necklace. Would you believe? Last week, I wore this day and night, even while grocery shopping, showering, sleeping, and then suddenly, out Of the blue, one day last week, I reached up to feel it, AND IT WAS GONE! I scoured everywhere! The whole house for it! And then i thought maybe it fell while grocery shopping! Then I looked down, and it was lodged in my bra LOL. I love this necklace. I got this piece in August of 2018 and I have zero regrets!

So there you have it! Each piece has a story behind it, almost a history of my life, good and bad. But no regrets!

@Matthews1127 and every other essential healthcare worker THANK YOU for all you do for your patients. I’m in healthcare as well but not in the front lines. I’m in pharmacy. We are considered essential, but it’s different for us. I’m thankful I am still working. However, I miss my daily commutes to hospitals and seeing all my nurse friends and doctors.

This is such a wonderful thread! I always knew PSers have gorgeous pieces -attention to detail in here is like nothing else-but it’s awesome to see all the pieces in one thread.

oh and @Matthews1127 I love your EC! I’ve said this many times, but one day I’d love an EC. My dream stone.

We have a son studying to be a Pharmacist. I can only imagine what it will be like, post-pandemic. This virus is here to stay. Hopefully, a solution will be found quickly.
I’m certain you’ve been busy, and have had to battle obstacles of daily changes in our “new normal” routine. It’s insanity.

You stay well too. This “new normal” is different and I can’t lie- I miss my old very steady routine. I even miss my favorite security guards at the hospitals. I also miss meeting my patients face to face and not this call them instead nonsense. Seems so impersonal to me. I get it, I really do, but still miss a lot of things.
GL to your son! My only regret is that I wish I started my career in healthcare sooner so at least he won that battle.

My oval is .92 E VS2. The setting is from a local jeweler who had a diamond already set in it. It just happened to be the perfect size for my stone so they popped out their diamond and set mine.

The band is from Blue Nile, currently on sale so I figured I might as well give it a try
