Would love to hear some feedback from anyone who has purchased a wedding band from Blue Nile!

My E - Ring setting is A Jaffe and their bands seem really expensive! I am not concerned about having an exact match and plan to eventually have a few bands to stack / mix. Blue Nile is having some really good sales right now and it seems like I could get a higher carat weight for way less money than some of the Jaffes I was looking at.

Fiance is concerned that this deal might be too good to be true and we could end up with lower quality diamond specs. Of course Jaffe doesn't have any specs online to compare and our local jewelers are all closed at the moment due to COVID 19. The BN band I like has specs I and SI2 I believe- not sure what the standard is for bands

Help!!

I have purchased several bands from Blue Nile and have never been disappointed in the quality. The diamonds are sparkly and settings are well made.

I can't speak for bands, but I have bought earrings and bracelets from them. Never any quality issues and they have a great return policy.

Love your set and that diamond band is so unique ! I’ll attach a pic of my ring. I’m leaning towards a 1/2 carat pave half eternity which will be a bit thicker of a band than my e ring. Not sure if that will look right or if I should go down to 1/4 carat... ADA9C4D3-C6C5-43CA-AE6F-1B78EAAD3DCC.jpegFB253ABF-B663-4B70-8990-F45FFA03869F.jpeg

@Diamond*Dana would you also mind sharing the specs on your beautiful emerald cut? would love to add one of those to a collection one day... so elegant

Beautiful ring!
I was so lucky to get the diamond band at about 60% off. It’s comfort fit and very solid with a nice weight to it.

OP
That is a very nice looking ER with the halo.
Since the halo style sits wider than a solitaire setting, your wedding band will not sit flush to the ER. Given that is the case, you may want to consider an inexpensive spacer to go between the ER and wedding band. If you do not have a spacer than the wedding band keeps rubbing against what I will call the bottom part of the prong which will bend it over time. A spacer solves that problem. I will try to attach a picture of my wife’s halo ring, wedding band which is an eternity band, and spacer. The spacer was bought at Tiffany’s. It is sterling silver, and every once in a while I buff the tarnish off.

@WillyDiamond Thank you! Mine sits up pretty high.. do you think I will still need a spacer ?image.jpg

Perhaps not looking at that angle.

Thank you! I love a bit of a thicker band - especially on days that you might want to just wear it alone. It's hard to know how it will look with the e-ring without trying it on lol

Help!!

My platinum eternity band is from Blue Nile. I’ve had it for 5+ years and wear it daily with my e-ring. It has held up well for the most part. However, a couple years ago I noticed that a diamond was missing! I never found the stone. I reached out to Blue Nile about this. They replaced the diamond free of charge, and the only thing I paid for was the shipping to get it there.

I purchased two wedding bands from Blue Nile to wear with my halo engagement ring, and I am very happy with both of them. This first is a diamond eternity band in white gold and the second is a plain platinum band. Pictures included below.

Have you considered going more than 1/2 eternity? Maybe 2/3rds? With 1/2 eternity if the ring turns at all it won't take much to see metal. If you
go 2/3rds the ring will have to rotate a lot more before you see metal. That being said, I dont know if BN offers any 2/3 eternities.
