This stone does NOT cooperate at all with the camera. I will post the one photo I got that didn't completely black out. It is much better in real life, and if you're interested in an unusual spinel specimen and less interested in cut, this stone may be the one for you. It's mysterious and interesting and I've never seen a color quite like this before. Even the vendor photo doesn't really do it justice.

I think that this one could have potential for a recut, I didn't capture it well in these pictures, but it's more attractive with a lot more light reflected in real life.
