Bluenile diamond - Think I found one

I'm not even going to pretend I am an expert. I'm new to the whole diamond buying thing but I've definitely become obsessed with this site since my recent purchase, also from Blue Nile.

For the most part it seems that most people on here don't agree with purchasing a diamond you can't see especially when it's on the lower end of clarity. Blue Nile is a drop shipper so they don't actually have the stones in their possession. You probably would be better passing on this one. I just received my stone on Thursday and have been over analyzing everything about it even made a post just now! I definitely think being able to see the stone before buying it would help alleviate the stress of not knowing what you're getting.

I am set on bluenile for the setting and just having them do it so I wanted to get the opinion on this diamond.
It seems to be perfect but am a little worried about the SI1 since I can't see it. Do they send reports or pictures? I also took into consideration the table/depth %.

budget was around $2,500

I don't know much about anything other than round brilliant cuts so I can't help much. However, have you considered contacting www.goodoldgold.com they are highly regarded on here. They can provide extra information regarding if a stone is eye-clean, make a video of it for you etc plus I think they have a good returns policy but not checked it out myself.

Bluenile is alright, possibly cheaper than GOG but it depends how much information you want in advance and GOG would probably pick you out a better cut diamond. Either way, good luck!

I thought maybe it was a round, and while I don't agree with buying anything in the thousands of dollars without pictures, you have a better chance with rounds. But you just can't buy a good princess cut or any fancy cut without pictures. It also helps to find AGS Ideal cut princess stones because those usually will be the best cut. I recommend Good Old Gold and WhiteFlash for princess cuts.
