Happy Birthday, Mrs b!!! I am so sorry I am a little late to your party, but I am so happy that you are out of the hospital and on the mend... that is truly wonderful news.

It looks like your party was a smash success. I totally understand your initial dismay of cancelling your fabulous trips. We have all had to to that this year. Everything has been cancelled. Hopefully, in the future they will be on again and you will be back to complete strength. I love your beautiful bangles and ring. As usual, you have such wonderful taste.

I'm hoping I can find a way to make my trips at some point in the not toooo distant future - altho, goodness knows, things aren't looking great for this country at the moment. It's hard to feel too depressed, tho, when you're surrounded by such lovely jewelry, so, on balance, I mostly just feel very spoiled. :))

Hi @Moonie :wavey: I love the minimalist nature of ECs. Their light return is completely different to a round brilliant - warm and glowy. They're the classy chicks of the diamond world, in my opinion, and aesthetically I'm finding Boadicea a whole different experience to me round three stone. Loving her!! :mrgreen:

Good morning, Kate! The lady with the stunning EC was @DiamanteBlu. Six and a half cts! And STUNNING! While mine doesn't aspire to those proportions, I have adored her ring for years, and if mine is even HALF as beautiful as hers, I will consider this latest project a job well done! oxo

Thanks, @RosieR :)) I have to say, while I love the gypsy ring, I'm already thinking about having it re-cast. I love the style, and I think I want to re-do it with a slightly larger center stone. We'll see how that plays out!

Hi @donnabrsd! I think I'm single-handedly trying to bring back yellow gold! Altho - there are a lot of people who appreciate its warmth at this point, and the way it interacts both with diamonds and colored stones. I've loved seeing rose gold make a resurgence also - such an elegant and lush metal! And thank you for your very kind comments. :))

@Bayek - I pine for 30! I'd love to go back and do it again! So many things I'd change....

I'd certainly own your two ring designs if I had unlimited money! :lol: In actuality, simple and classic is what I wear 99% of the time. I'd sell a few of my things if I didn't have all the girls who'd like to have them down the road!
