Bobbi Brown or MAC

Which makeup line do you prefer and why? Also, did any of you brides wear either one of these for your wedding and did you like it? I usually wear BE. Thanks for your help!

I personally prefer MAC..tried out their studio fix (believe that''s the one) foundation, powder, etc., for my e-pics and they turned out great. Could not really tell in photos that I was sweating like crazy! So I attribute that to mac!

I prefer MAC. I wore Bobbi Brown a long time ago and have not worn it in years but I feel as though MAC has greater selection and greater diversity/versatility of products/colors etc and a better price point and artists able to assist if you have application inquiries. This may not be an accurate statement anyl longer as BB may have changed quite a bit, however, it''s my personal thought.

I like MAC (never tried BB), especially their lipcolors. Not only did I wear MAC for my wedding day, I had my makeup done that day at the MAC store! It worked out great!

I wear and love and totally worship both BB and mac!!!
BB makes this product called a shimmerbrick..........and it is truly, truly a gift from God. It came out about 5 years ago, and they have introduced many colors of it since, but it really makes your skin GLOW!!! I garentee you it is the best money you could ever spend. Period.
Every thing else, I wear MAC. Their colors are fresh and beautiful and their artist are the best I''ve even worked with. (Make up is my number one obsession).
My advise?
Test them both, but if you go another day without a shimmerbrick, you are crazy!!!!

I like Bobbi Brown, (although definitely preferred MAC when I was younger) because the colors are more wearable for me. MAC has a lot brighter and more colorful makeup that I think it fun; bub Bobbi Brown has a lot of neutrals that look good on most people. Makeup shows up a lot on my fair skin, so I can''t do really intense colors without looking like I''m playing dress-up.

I prefer BB, except for lipgloss. Her''s are so sticky! I prefer Trish Mcevoy for lipglosses.

I don''t care for either MAC or Bobbi Brown. I wear Prescriptives foundation and eye shadow, Erno Lazlo loose translucent powder, Dior blush, and Shu Umera mascara. And Illuminare (internet) lip gloss. I also like Model in a Bottle (available at some beauty supply stores) to set my makeup, and Smashbox anti-shine to give me a really matte look. I use whatever pencil eyeliner has the best colors.

I like both a lot. I use Mac studio fix VERY lightly, MAC eye kohl pencils, but use BB eyeshadows and blush, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, and Trish McEvoy lipsticks and glosses. hodgepodge.

MAC for sure - i really like their color selections and i think the eyeshadows have great staying power for long wear!

I don''t know why i don''t love Bobby Brown, but i have had some and just didn''t love the way the colors looked - perhaps the ones i chose were too muted for me

Thanks ladies!! I love makeup, but I usually wear Lancome, Estee lauder, Clinique, and BE. I mix them all up. I was just thinking maybe I should try MAC or Bobbi Brown since I hear so much about them. Thanks for your help!

I think it depends on what products you are looking for.

MAC def. has more fun colors for eyes. BB tends to be more muted.

I recently discovered BB''s long wear cream shadows....they are amazing! BB got the adhesive that is in the birth control patch and added to cream eyeshadows. They stay on forever and don''t crease! I use a natural skin color as my eyeshadow primer now and love it.

like I said before BB''s lipglosses are a little to tacky/sticky for me and I find her lipsticks a little too brown on me, even the light ones.

I think a hodgepodge is usually the best way to go. Find the individual products taht you like.

Also, I''ve heard the Dior''s DiorShow mascara is amazing. I always forget to get some when I''m at the mall, but i''ve heard from multiple sources that is amazing and the next best thing to using some extra false lashes.
