Thank you, FG!

And Dani- Don''t fret, you still have plenty of time on colors too.

I love the idea of pink and brown...I don''t think it''s too trendy at all.

Looks great! Wow, you are way ahead of me... You''re September 07, right? I''m July, and I just locked in the ceremony site, and have the dress.

Did it ever rain for you today? I got a little sprinkling about 7:30am on my way from OC to LA... I think I was near long beach. Then it was kind of cool in downtown LA all day, then 3:30, on my way home, the sun popped out and it was hot! Got to love CA.

Close back shoes (love those). Saw a bride trip when a hem got caught between her heel and her shoe.

Do they have to have an entirely closed back, or would a strap do?
Hers had a strap!

I bought completely closed back open side- toed with an ankle strap... there are some really cute ones out there though. That blue soled shoe website/store (don''t recall name of it right now) has a REALLY great pair that are super good looking too. I''d take a look and see what you think.

EBree- did you go to the Amy Kuschel in SF? I went there to try on dresses, they are soooo nice there... but I felt like a lot of their dresses are really similar. All very pretty, of course. I like their fabrics and cut.

I ended up ordering mine from another designer though, because I heard that even though each dress is custom, Amy doesn't actually make any of the dresses anymore... so I was kind of disappointed about that... I actually heard some rumors about how much/how well her seamstresses are paid/treated, so that turned me off.

Anyway, I love the hair look too - I wish I could pull it off, my hair just doesnt ever want to look 'wavy' like that!!

I LOVE their shoes- I think one in particular- Eva? The ones I posted in Deco''s shoe post...LOVE THEM.

Ocbride2007- Thanks! I didn't get any rain here in Pasadena, but I did feel some "mist" when I was taking Sally on a walk. I have to say, I kind of like it when it's overcast/cool here. Nothing against the sun, I just like the change!

Gypsy, Amber- I'll check those out! Thanks!

Flopkins- I didn't go to AK in San Francisco; I found my gown at the only bridal store that carries her designs in all of Texas! I could have sworn she was still making the gowns? A girl on The Knot said AK made and altered hers, and the bridal boutique I ordered from said she makes each one personally. I'll try to find out what's going on.

Ebree, I LOVE this weather too, especially since we''re doing the LA county fair on Saturday and I REALLY don''t want to burst into flame while there!
