Got my ring in today! They shipped the 29th and I got it today the 6th. I’m in the US for reference. Tracking didn’t update until the 5th lol then it was pretty much in the US and out for delivery. The past two DHL deliveries have also never asked for a signature either, so weird. I know others have needed a signature. I know it says so on the shipping instructions. Oh well. Here she is! Only in warm light and bathroom light. I need to take some outside. But look at the heart reflection in the top pic!!
I haven't purchased anything from Tianyu yet, but the quote seems good considering it's in platinum. I'm sure you will get some more responses soon. If you decide to go through with the custom ring design, post your CAD here so we can take a look and make any recommendations.Hi all, first time posting.
I'm going to be proposing within the next 6 months! Have been looking at several Moissy options and found out about Tianyu.
Quick sanity check, does this estimate look fair?

Wearing it as a thumb ring because 5.75 is just a little too loose (I usually wear a 5 on my ring finger but thought I’d size up to stack. Should go for a 5.25 next time lol)
Wow, Tianyu has gotten much better with their milgrain, it looks great! Is that an eternity band? If it is, maybe you can wear it on your right hand?
Very nice!!
Yes- this price looks to be correct. I usually pay around $800 for platinum because I go with much bigger centers but no pave. If you were to do this ring in gold you would probably be somewhere between $475 & $575. If you do decide to go with Tianyu, you can look at their Alibaba site or if you go custom, post your CAD here before they start production so we can take a look at it for you.Hi all, first time posting.

I have one of each from Tianyu but I personally prefer the round H&A cut even though I always go for antique cuts since I have a round diamond already. I think they cut a really good H&A and they have gotten even better recently. The OEC’s are cut very well too but I seem to notice it be a little bit more dead in the center in natural daylight. To get a good stone, you can ask to have it cut based on your inspiration pic’s. I think there is minimal cost, if any, but that may take another 2 weeks. If you want to choose from their stock stones, have them lined up on a piece of white paper so you can look at them in a picture. They seem to be short on time lately but if you can manage to get them to select one or two of your favorite stones and take a short video for you before you choose. Natural daylight would be a bonus but it is sometimes hard to get them to do it, especially because of the holidays.Sooo first time post but long time lurker. You guys have the best taste
I’m considering ordering a colorless 8mm H&A loose and having it set back home. What are the pros and cons of H&A vs OEC in moissanite? Also what should I specify to ensure getting the best quality stone possible? Y’all are miracle workers
I think they looks great! I actually think the settings will look delicate enough in person
I really love my French cut band so I’m taking a gamble to have them custom make a moissy dog paw print pendant in memory of my big fluff bear that was recently diagnosed with cancer and we have to put to sleep in a week.
I’m having it made in silver because I think tianyu has been hit or miss with CADs and quality control so I wanted to keep it pretty cheap. I can always get another made in gold later if I end up lovin’ it and gift the silver to one of my many many dog loving friends and family.
It’s going to be made using 4mm hearts and arrow rounds and a 8mm heart moissy.
Fingers crossed it’s not a mess lol.
Inspiration photos:
I would stick with the brilliant H&A cuts. I have seen one in person that was sent to me by mistake and a few over on WB. They look really flat and dull IRL. They are always shown under fancy lighting in their videos from either Chinese company. The rounds look the best I think.Has anyone ordered a crushed ice oval from Tianyu? I kind of want both a round and oval now
I can't wait to see your pendant when it's done. It's so cute.
I think the 8 mm will look just right...not too big for a pendant. I love the design! Thanks! I’m not sure if the 8mm heart will be too big. But I do want it to be a noticeable pendant and I don’t think my 8mm round is too big so we will see.

I like it better than mine. Your miligrain is a little finer. Can we see how it fits in your ring finger with a stack? Just curious...Thanks! While I wait for CADs I’m having fun admiring my new fancy thumb ring. I think eternity bands make great thumb bands because you can see more of the band than if you were wearing it on your ring finger!
I like the subtle glitter and sparkle of the French cuts because they don’t overpower my colored stone rings.
