Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Gosh ladies, thank you for the nice comments....particularly the legs.
Believe me, they are not as thin as they look. My pant legs have gotten tighter by the days
and you can see the lumps around the knees. I was just about to apologize for exposing those pasty stumps.
Fortunately my shirt is long, so the lumps on the behind are concealed

LC--
I''m sure you looked fab while you were preggo. Like Jas12 said, you looked pretty darn good in your "moment after delivery".
You must be tall and thin and the 25 lb gain was probably all belly and boobs.

msb--
Forgot to comment on your little K.
Love his dark luscious and curly hair

So cute...
Anyway, hope you find a solution for the MMR shots.

TGal--
Oh god, I sure hope I don''t go more than a week over.
I kept reminding my Dr. that my EDD is 2 days off so that the induction would be earlier.
He won''t induced until I''m passed 10 days....so with 2 days off, that''ll be almost 2 weeks.
Anyway, just last night, I was feeling alot of movement from the little one especially down in the pelvis.
As much as I want to have the baby out now, I sort of freaked and tell the baby to stay in there for another week...
why? because I still have too many things to do -- ie baby stuff to get together (got the carseat installed though :), taxes to file, and some loose ends at work.
Hopefully, I can stay away from PS and get those things done so that I don''t panic if the baby does come early.
Hmm....interesting with the all symptoms you are having (anxiety dreams, wakefulness, cramps and icky stomach).
I think April 1st is it!

Jas12--
Hehe, I agree with you about the bebe not really wanting to come out since s/he is so well fed being in there.
Doesn''t have to cry and work his/her mouth to get fed.
It''s amazing how much you alike you are to TGal. Your symptoms are mirrored of hers...
And MrsS too. It''ll be so bizarre if all 3 of you go at the same time.
We''ll all be anxiously checking this thread tomorrow.

MrsS--
You are all belly.
I agree with Jas12 in that it looks like you have one of those prosthetic belly under your shirt.
Every part of you is so slim.
You didn''t cut too much off your hair huh? Or was this pic taken before you had your hair cut?

Tacori--
Welcome back.
We miss you and Tessa!
Love the new avi....with her tongue sticking out.
Those pictures of her playing with your parents lab are so adorable....
I especially like the kissing one...
That''s awesome about her weight gain! Your dad did good.

Ok...had to break here a bit...and get back to work

you ladies are all way too sweet. thanks for all the nice comments

tgal- i vote for you to bake the cake. i actually just bought some turtle brownie mix b/c Jake really wants some. i think ttot really needs some choc. too
11.gif

jackiejas-i agree with the other gals on the amnio. i didn''t have one but would have if my dr. recommended it.

jas12-girl, i''m so hoping you go into labor soon. i just cannot imagine being over my due date at all. one way or the other it won''t be long now...same goes for tgal. i do think it would be hilarious if Lili goes early and first though....

lili- ha..i actually took that pic today which is after my hair cut. i went to a new gal and was too nervous to let her take too much off. plus, i didn''t want to do anything drastic while preggo. she did some much needed shaping and adding some long bangs and i''m happy. hubby is really happy b/c he likes my hair longer and when i was preggo with lily i chopped my hair into a pixie cut and it threw him.

Now THAT would be an awesome April Fool''s!

I''m off to bake the cake!!!

I''ve felt lower cramps for the first time a few minutes ago. I was lying on the couch sideways with no pressure on my uterus. I felt something like a pop and a small gush of fluid. Could this be it?

Sounds like it could be? I am so excited for you! Keep us posted!

Maybe he/she will be an April fool''s baby!

MrsS, you look amazing! All belly! I am feeling okay. Just tired of feeling sick and exhausted. I am really excited to be almost into the 2nd trimester. Only a few more weeks to go! Thanks for asking.

Tacori, welcome back! We missed you! Love the pictures of Tessa you posted. They are sooo adorable!

I hope so! This is so exciting!

I keep refreshing!!!!!!!

Get your tickets ladies....

BLOODY SHOW is about to begin: TravelingGal UNPLUGGED.

Blood and water everywhere. Can''t tell if it''s mucus plug or water. But I got a big sanitary pad full of sh*t to prove it.

TGuy is on his way home. He asked me if I wanted a burger. I said he''d better get something for himself!!!!!

Oh my God!!!!!
I''m so excited...yet scared for you because obviously I have no idea what giving birth is like. The plug sounds lovely though...lol!
Are you going to the hospital, or just going to wait it out?

Love your new Avatar!!! hahaha

Tgal--MAYBE !?!? Sure sounds like it. Lets hope
36.gif

My little fluid gush wasn''t AM fluid--but i didn''t hear a pop! !!! That''s a good sound hehe. On the flip side, i heard a sort of pop yesterday, but nothing to go with it. You got the combo deal!

Oh, i hope this is it for you--will most likely be an April 1st baby for you if does happen and contractions start sometime tonight--unless you are a super speedster!
KEEP US POSTED!!!!!!

P.S. I am jealous

..........

Tacori--i go for for the NST on Wed. morning to make sure the baby is okay (did you go for one, i cant'' remember), then at 10 days over we discuss a non-hormone induction (membrane sweep), after that, i don''t know.

jackiejas--i think you can request the amio after. I didn''t opt for one b/c i knew i would keep the baby regardless, but my OB later said that even if you do know you would not terminate a pregnancy sometimes it''s good to know of a complication before hand so any interventions can be planned for in advance (like care imediately after or during the birth) the flip side to that is that my family Dr. said that out of all the couples who were told their child most likely had downs, less than half of them actually did --so talk about unnecessary stress for 6 months! It''s a personal thing, maybe ask your Dr. for some input.

Wow, I just happened to click over here for the first time in a while, and exciting things are happening! Just noticed the avatar change too-I hope you''re not planning to animate the delivery too!

LOL, too funny.

Jas, I''m sending vibes your way!

I can''t get the fluid to stop. It''s nuts. I can''t believe we may have an April Fool''s Baby. That is wrong. Wrong!!!

I yelled at TTot earlier today to come out. I asked him/her if she was going to cooperate or if this was the beginning of a lifetime of not listening to me. I guess I got my answer.

For those of you with no contractions before your water broke. How long did you wait? I only feel slight cramps that are not even anything compared to the menstrual ones I used to get....

Just had to pop into the Preggo thread to say:

GOOD LUCK, TGAL!!!

*Sending tons of fairy dust in your direction*

Can''t wait to see pictures of TTot!

TGal,
This is it!!!!! Best of luck!!!

Yay!! Hope you have a smooth delivery!

My sister told me that she didn''t start having contractions until 7 hours after her water break.

YAHOO! I''m v.v. glad I was able to check in today (started a new job and have been nutso today)
Wishing you a smoooooth delivery, TGal!

Tgal--i think it''s really variable--some ppl start right away and for others it can be a day or so before labor really kicks in. Your OB will have a recommended amount of time to wait b/w water breaking and active labor kickin in. Did you guys ever discuss that?

Do you know if you''ll be admitted when you go to the hospital if your water has broken but no dilation? I think that is variable as well? So many questions--don''t bother answering them, i am talking to myself in my giddy excitement/envy for you...
but either way--you''re off to the races now!!!!

TGAL,
Nan says to stand up if you want the fluid to slow down. You need to give the doctor the heads up that your water broke. Normally they like to deliver you within 24 hours of your water breaking. I went 48 hours though, but was in the hospital once my water broke.
Nan sends her best wishes for a smooth deilivery. Am giving her play by play over the phone.

Very true. The baby''s head will act like a cork.

Thanks all. I called the doctor (you know you''re on PS too long when you post here instead of calling the damn doc first). They want me to go into the hospital to get monitored. I am going to tell them if nothing is going on, I''d like to come home for a few hours. I really don''t want to go to the hospital now, but I have to be on the safe side.

I think my contractions are starting, but they are SO mild I can''t tell.

Damn, really wanted that cake.

This is so awesome, TGal! Thanks for keeping us posted...but don''t wait too long!

I''m going on a walk first. Just a short one when TGuy gets home.

OMG, Tgal!!! Good luck. Hopefully your labor isn''t that long to make Ttot an April''s fool baby.

I was just going on here to post about our stroller shopping trip today, but your news is much more exciting.

Thanks curly, snlee, & Lili. I missed you guys too!

TGal, sounds like your water broke!
