Does anyone know what kind of flowers these are? These colors go perfectly with our colors!

maybe... white orchids and very deep purple callas.

thanks vr :) I think i would probably do it without the deep purple callas though bc i bet those are super expensive lol
now i just need to figure out what the light green ones are :)

If that is an orchid, I think the green part are just ones that havent opened yet...?? Orchids are sooo pretty. And spendy~!

Oo and the little vases look like white roses to me

hmm i bet orchids submerged in water with a dark green bow would be pretty and to float a candle on top? (if you cant tell im in centerpiece mode) the only problem is that we can only light candles in hurricane vases...i wonder if they make fake floating candles...

ah ha! I found fake floating candles :)

Are you DIYing your flowers? If not, then you don''t need to figure that stuff out--just take your picture(s) to your florist and say "this is what I want, what is it, and is it in my budget?" Lots of flowers come in those exact colors, so it''s not like you will need to match the breed/variety in order to capture the look!

Are they Bells of Ireland?

The dark flowers are definitely burgundy/plum calla lilies.

The white blooms are NOT cymbidium orchids, cymbidium orchids have a very distinct appearance.

I would say dendrobium, the smaller white orchid sprays in this bouquet:

I used dendrobium orchids at my wedding...they are very expensive Smurfy...if budget is big deal for you, I would suggest getting a price quote before getting your heart set on them...

I also used them at my wedding (see pic below). We added lots of curly willow and gorgeous foliage to balance the cost, but they were still >$275 per arrangement. Orchids are expensive!

Cymbidium Orchid

I was looking them up earlier this week, and the cheapest I found was 10 stems for like $250 and each stem has approx 7-10 blooms.

ETA: This is a wholesale site, and they are $289 for 10 stems. http://www.flowers.pacificcallas.com/orchidsflowerswhite.htm
Shop around Mer. We used those for our bouquets and I know she got them for much, much cheaper. I would ask her for the website...but you know.

wow thanks for the heads up on the spendy orchids guys :)

my thought was to just get a stem of orchids for each centerpiece

my dad also said not to worry about the expense of flowers or the cake so hopefully this wont be too terrible on the budget
