vesper so happy you took a photo of your red zircon next to the day lily. Now I have a better idea of the color. Very pretty. Also I've been wanting to ask you to post another picture of your green zircon ring. I love the setting (and of course the gem) but when I try to enlarge the pic you posted in eye candy I can't see detail. Would love to know the details!

@Sungura well thank you. The diamonds are terrible and need to be replaced. I was playing with the idea of having blue diamonds set.

Thanks Vesper. I'd love to see a profile shot. I like the idea of a "halo" with more gold than diamonds and a plain band. Can you give some details about the setting? Love the idea of swapping colorless diamonds for blue.

@Sungura I bought the band off of ebay for like $175. It is 10kt gold and the diamonds are 1mm. I am really happy with it because it has a low profile.

I just went on a big round of setting things so probably won't be setting things for awhile. It'll give me time to think things over!
I really like my new wrap ring though so maybe another two stone combo.

really loving my new moonstones from barry, picked them up from the post office on the way to work this morning. sri lanka oval blue (1.68ct 9 * 7.1) & marquis rainbow (not sure on ct. dimensions appx 10.5 * 5)

I'm pretty excited about this mint, I'll admit. I reluctantly gave up my first big mint for the diamond I wear every day, and have been missing it. Although I still have, um...a few mint garnets, and my cuprian, etc, I fell in love with this 5 carat bad boy recently. Juuuuust need to pay it off! Lol.

4.4ct Rhodolite Garnet 9.1x8.1x6.9 checkerboard top
2.73ct Morganite/Goshenite 9.88x7.74x5.75 it's very light pink which I can see IRL but most of my photos it looks clear to blue
And a 1.32ct Mali Garnet 7.75x5.12x3.82

Also waiting on two rainbow moonstone's from TGT. For now all I have is vendor pics. The rectangular/cushion cab is 2.89cts




I'm thinking ring bangle (or pendant, or two rings) for the moonstone's. James meyer style east west split shank ring for the garnet. Single stone Bangle for the goshenite. ...

Yes. Im pumped for them to arrive already. I broke my budget buying them both (sssh) I keep telling myself it's ok because I hadn't been able to find one in a long time. The AUS $ conversion is terrible right now.

I'm on a moonstone spree. Bought some tiny ones from multicolour which I also think are great and very blue for the size

Still looking for a nice mint vanadium chrysoberyl...one day...all fingers crossed. TGT sold ones that come up on Google search haunt me. I'm not going to lie. I have all of them saved on my phone for future reference.

7.3cts Purpleish Pink Kunzite, no treatments, from Afghanistan. 15.2x7.7x7.7

I guess either set it as a pendant or bangle because of its size/shape. I really like the colour in all lighting.

I probably need to stop buying stones and start getting some set. My (modest) gemstone box is getting full. Or I need a bigger storage container. It could go either way.

This is an old purchase which I never posted it's a pink fire quartz from TGT. Buff top oval. Brads photos are better than mine. It's nearly impossible to capture the flash well on the phone camera. This is one if my favourites from my collection





I need to Take it outside for better photos I think
(quartz with covellite inclusions) Brad listed another one in his latest drop which reminded me to post this
