WAHOOOOOO!!!!

Tesla (my tanzanite) made it safe and sound to Sally (sigh of relief!) Sally said it was one of the most beautiful gems anyone''s sent over, and I''m so excited to get the setting underway!! WHEEE.

Ok, back to the boredom of studying.

Oh, thank goodness, MTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, even though I don''t hesitate in sending Sally gems to set since her work is amazing, I still hold my breath when things are in transit!

Lovinggems -- hope you are very feisty and get your money back.

Novel -- glad you found something that will work AGAIN.

Arcadian -- sounds lovely.

Fly Girl -- LOVE your new earrings!! Enjoy.

Wow Fly Girl! those earrings are STUNNING!
D&T that ring design sounds gorgeous. I have not contracted with Sally yet but when i do it will also be for the rope design. I find it so traditional and elegant but different at the same time. That will definitely be a show stopper when complete!
Arcadian- I NEED MORE PICTURES!

MTG, yahoo! Glad your stone made it safely! Whats sally''s lead time??

They take a week or two off to celebrate new years, and they''re also very busy with orders.

Oh well, I''m sure it will be worth the wait!

awww..

MTG, the first part of the trip is done, and that time should really fly by (hopefully!) I think in my case having a few projects in the fire at the same time sorta helped too.

It''s still pretty up in the air at the moment. After sending Brian a powerpoint document with about 10 different rings in it that had various design elements that I liked or absolutely didn''t like and after talking with him on the phone, we came to the conclusion that the ring will be either a 3 or 5 stone with some curvy elements to the design without being overly organic. I have some pictures of my stone with some traps and he''s currently hunting up some half moons. I should have some pictures of those hopefully by Monday.

I ended up buying two of Dan''s ebay opals last night.
36.gif
I''d like to try and come up with an idea to incorporate different looks of opal into one piece without looking gaudy. Suggestions?

Brandy
Are you interested in a pendant? I can just totally see this as a bezel pendant incorporating both stones
30.gif
streamline and sleek

Brandy, those opals are sooo pretty!

Mariedtiger, your pendant is lovely!

BeBe (my Barry Tsavorite) is all done! Can't wait to have her back!
Sally sent pics, although she said it was kind of cloudy and overcast that day. Still, I think it's pretty!
