Ohhhhh! I see now-duh, I scrolled back up and looked-sorry I didn''t pay attention to that! Will this one be the same size as the pink or smaller to nestle into the pink?

It will be a smaller piece, befitting both the smaller green cab, and my budget!

We are thinking about 3/4 inch wide, or so.

Busy day yesterday. Gave the go ahead to have the ruby pears from Mastercut Gems (Link to Rubies) set into bezel dangles, finalized the design and made the downpayment for a custom pendant made with Dana''s tsavorite cab (Link to Tsavorite), and I received these gorgeous ammy cabs in the mail from Dana (Link to Amethyst). The two smaller cabs match the larger one. I''m loving Dana''s Zambian amethyst. Stunning material. I''m thinking a pendant and matching earrings.

Thank you, D&T, and you have some lovely pieces coming yourself.

Just wanted to add that what you are seeing the the 17 ct cab in the center picture above is an upside down reflection of the bare trees and snow outside my window. It is one gorgeous chunk of very clean ammy. I'm thinking simple gold bezels would suit these well.

Beautiful earrings, packrat. Lot of gold there, though. I'll probably look for somewhat thinner (and lighter) bezels.

So the jewellers forgot to send my spessarite ring, so it sat around their office for a week, and then they declared it for the wrong amount, requiring taxes to be paid on it and a few extra days - so that cost an extra $220 AUD - ouch!

[end rant]

That aside, I'm told I should see it this afternoon or tomorrow - yay!!! The preliminary pictures look pretty good, too!

I know! I keep waiting for the doorbell to ring! I've been pretty busy with uni, but it's finally over, and I get to graduate - yay! Currently having the fun of interviews and such - icky, but hopefully promising!

I still haven't got that citrine set - one stone at a time!
