Babyblue- the peter toracca asscher stone, was it on his site? if so i might have seen it?
Was it the big intense pink one? If so, yep that''s my baby

Stepcutnut, I''m normally not a big fan of pears but I''m really digging that design! I especially love the top view.

Brandy, I love the earrings! I''m going through an earring phase right now so I get so excited to see what other PSers have

Don''t forget to post pictures when you get them.

I''ve got this coming - a 5mm london blue topaz that Barry put into a stuller setting for me that he had laying around. It''s a pendant for my youngest daughter''s 11th birthday.
That''s so cute cinnamon! I''m sure she''ll love it! My 7 year old daughter swears her favorite color is *currently* blue.

I am super excited, I know that it is not a design that most will like-but I love it!!! It was originally going to be a split shank with the kites bezeled, but the designer said that the integrity was not there for the ring-so this is the new design. Modern, sleek, angle shoulders, squared off shank, high polish and sits higher off my finger than before.
That''s going to be a very nice piece SCN! I hope you post lots of pics when you get it complete.

I have these on the way from Barry. I should receive them today. 3 mm tsavs with a matching ''surprise'' 4mm pendant. Barry went looking for a piece of rough to send along with the earrings and came across one that was a perfect match to the earrings so he cut it for me and it turned out to be an IF piece.
9.gif
Gotta love Barry. According to Barry the pic shows a lot of gray, as the background is supposed to be white, and the earrings are more of a pure green than the picture shows. I 100% trust his description and can''t wait to get them!
36.gif
OMgosh Brandy... I love these! I''m in need of a gem stud earrings, and now I gotta talk with Barry... of course to find me some! They look great!
I went to Barry in search of loose demantoids for my spinel project and ended up buying these. Barry said he didn''t have anything at first and then he emailed me back within an hour and said that he''d found these in his safe and they matched the color range I had asked him about. Said they''d been there quite some time and he''d set them up to take to the jewelry store probably 10 years ago but apparently they never made it there and he''d forgotten all about them. There''s no telling what else he has in his safe or just laying around! Barry also says he has lots of stuller settings for pendants and earrings. I sure hope he recovers from his shoulder issues very soon and can start cutting again!

Oh Brandy the new earrings look perfectly lovely. And you have to love the surprise pendant! Are they for you or a gift?
Thanks SH!

They are for me, for now. I *might* let my daughter wear them as long as she''s with me. They''re petite enough and she LOVES to wear my necklaces and earrings. She''s 7 though and not so good at keeping up with things. She took off some of my nicer earrings at school one day and thank goodness all she lost was the back.
23.gif
In a few years she can have them but right now I''m not letting her run around with tsavorites, though they would be a good size for her.

Thanks SCN!

Lori, I think about you often. So sorry to hear you are not doing well. I just love the watch, and I have never seen anything like it. I''ve ordered a little fashion watch, but I don''t know how to link photos from a vendor. I can take a photo to show you when it arrives.

Fiery, I see you have a new avatar. Is the dog a puppy with white or is it an older dog that has grey hair?

Freke, When you say your package is arriving, does that mean the missing one has been resolved, we hope?

Finally, I do have a new stone. It is a black star sapphire. It is very translucent, so it sort of looks like a dark brown. The star is not white (it is not treated) but more of a tan color. These stones are a lot of fun, and reasonably priced. Here she is:
I really like that star sapphire PT!

I just got this pretty from Dan....she''s amazing!
Lori
So you''re the one who got that! Dan''s been cutting a lot of very pretty pink stones lately that makes my mouth water. When will we see pictures?
2.gif
Yep, it was me....I have a brand new camera sitting here in the box. I''ve been very sick lately and haven''t been up to doing much of anything, except a little posting, and will attempt photos just as soon as I can. My hands are shaking too much to get a decent shot of anything...even with my cell phone! I need to order a tripod.

Lori

Lori, I hope you start feeling better very soon! You''ve got quite a few new pretties there, I hope they are somewhat comforting! Did I read somewhere that you were going through chemo or another harsh series of treatments? I don''t know why but I think I recall something going on with you. HUGS

I love this thread! I like seeing what everyone is doing right now.

I recently acquired some tiny octagon step cut sapphires that I plan to set into a DBTY type of necklace, but that won''t be for some time I think. Depends on if I can find someone willing to do it for a better price than $700.

I am waiting for a Tanga garnet and a green-blue tourmaline to arrive from Barry, in the next couple of days, I hope..

I almost asked you about the DBTY... I think that would be fantastic! hmmm, still on the hunt ehh? ooh I hope you find someone soon.

Simplysplendid - was it on his site by chance? I've seen some that I were sold but hadn't been taken off yet. I think Barry just needs to take one great big picture of his whole stash
9.gif
albeit small but gives us more idea on whats he got tucked away yah kwim? seeing as some of the gems I've seen and have had did not come from his site

Ok.

1.5ct 6.5mm Precious topaz from Ouro Preto Brazil, cut in 1987, and was lost at "the store" since then.
1.22 6.2mm dark blue topaz, one inclusion, directly in the middle of the stone close to the table. Not very noticeable though.
Both were dropped and I bought off the site.

This weekend is probably not the best. I don''t think they are open Sundays, and I''m betting they are closed Saturday, but even if they aren''t, I''ve got the dum dum dum...evil engagement party.

I don''t know what to do with the freaking wedding necklace!!!!!! DANGIT. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, the garnet picture is still there, but not the green-blue tourmaline. I would love to see Barry''s entire collection of cut gems and rough ! Here''s the garnet:

Maybe you already did and I missed it, but did you already look into all those etsy sellers for this project?

Simplysplendid, that color is yummy! I have a Tanga Garnet cushion from Barry and I love it even though it can be a bit moody sometimes. I hope you enjoy yours and can''t wait to see photos when you get it!

The same day I pick up the garnet ring I''ll be picking up a pair of stud earrings with the prasiolite trillions from artcutgems

I''m still on the hunt for a sapphire for my e-ring. We''re going to have it set in a white gold Vatche ''Swan'' setting

right now for my birthday I''m getting a lotus ring from Heart of Water... Sally''s on the look-out for a star ruby/sapphire to center it without breaking the bank. I''m sooooo excited!
