CBI 3.27 ctw 3-Stone Ring - Ideas please

Stunning. And I want to know about the band - shared prong, but with an edge of metal? Like a reverse channel set? Or am I overthinking this? Either way, the pair is lovely.

@cflutist ,

I'm also curious about the beautiful band. I love the metal edging which, I assume, prevents the diamonds from damaging rings worn next to it. This is a custom piece, I assume?

And your new three-stone ring ... I'm speechless! :love: :love: :love:
When you started this thread, I knew the resulting ring - with three CBIs :-o - would be drop-dead gorgeous! Obviously, that's the case.

Anxiously awaiting lots and lots of photos and hand shots when you receive your two new wonderful rings! Hope you'll have them soon.

Of course, photos of both hands with all your CBI beauties would be appreciated.

@Wink , you and your team produce amazing creations. =)2

Magnificent!!!:love::love::love: I can't tell you how much I love this!

Please tell me the diameters in mm, if you don't mind! I really love your proportions!

@diamondseeker2006

The 2.21 F-SI1 CBI center stone is 8.36 x 8.39 mm
.53 F-VS1 CBI side stone is 5.21 x 5.23 mm
.53 F-VS2 CBI side stone is 5.20 x 5.22 mm

3.27 ctw

Hope this helps. I was amazed that I could find two side stones that were within .01mm of each other, same color grade, and within one clarity grade of each other. They both have 34.4 CA and 40.8 PA too.

Yes, this a custom made band with 1.8mm HPD Lux F/G-VS Melee that are H&A stones.
Width of the band is 3.0mm and there is a built-in spacer as a .6mm wide by 1.0mm high rail along the edges of the band. 1.8mm +.6mm + .6mm = 3.0mm. Total band height is 1.7mm so it could also be worn with Trilogie.The idea is for the metal to rub along the base of my Symphonie ering without damaging the trellis basket.
I did not want diamond girdles to extend to the edges of the band. We shall see.

Magnificent!! Just glorious, I never knew I wanted a 3 stone ring,until now!!
Beautiful ring @cflutist your collection is just drool worthy!

Oh wow. @cflutist you have my favorite collection on this board. I will be eagerly awaiting more photos.

I really enjoy taking the color tests and always score 0. And I do gravitate toward colorless stones, but I still like warm old cuts too, probably because I'm an antique lover.
@doberman you have my favorite PS FY ring, it is sensational.

Holy crap.

Thank you! It helps me visualize to know the mm as my 2.29 I color AVR is right at 8.4mm. I said in some thread the other day that my ideal for modern rounds is G VS1, but the color is a compromise because of price. F VS1 would be my real ideal if I could make myself pay for it! So that is why I love your rings so much (color and cut)! I also totally relate to your planning for the new band! I look forward to see pictures when you get the new rings!

Thank you for the detailed description and CADs!
You put a lot of thought into the detail of your rings - all of them - and that comes through in the wonderful results.
I love your elegant taste in jewellery.
You have an amazing collection.
Thanks for sharing them with us.

Gorgeous!

@rocks
Very pretty, another lady with color sensitivity ... isn't it terrible? Causes us to pay more for high colorless diamonds. I had a 2.05 D-VS2 in the past and I could definitely see the difference between it and an F.
Have you seen the Munsell Color Test? I scored 100 while dear hubby missed about 30 of them. Check it out.

scored a 0! (100%) may need to rethink going with a G-I diamond!
