Favors (tequila shot glasses and a bottle of Patron) doubled up as place settings.

Each place setting had a green, blue, or yellow maraca on it with a label that instructed the user to "Shake to See a Kiss"

One guest shook his maraca in tune with the Mariachi Band, who played during dinner. They were wonderful!

Slowing dancing barefoot on sand in a wedding gown was not easy! There was a lot of swaying back and forth action...

We had a Camera Scavenger Hunt at each table. Each table had different photos that had to be taken with their disposable camera.

Guests picked up their favors which let them know where to sit. Here you can see the tables were named after a different brand of tequila, with a bit of history provided.

Our 'guestbook'.

Guests were asked to use the white erase board and:

"Have a little fun! We ask that you only use a maximum of five (5) words to either describe us as a couple, share your favourite memory of our wedding day, or simply share words of wisdom. Please make sure to snap a photo before erasing the board and passing it along to the next guest."

My poor friend wrote this after stepping on a live wire on the beach and getting shocked. Thankfully we had an emergency room doctor as one of our guests and she was fine! She and her DH ended up with a free 5 day-4 night stay at the resort any time they liked.
