Thanks lliang! The aqua ring has a closed, solid basket - I don't have any profile shots at the moment, but you can almost see it in one of the side shots on Bistro. Hope that helps.

OMG, I think that orange sapphire pendant was my favorite!! Did you post a picture of you in a yellow shoulder shirt with that pendant on? It's still in my inspiration picture on my computer....

And the amethyst is haunting me. Why are all of you tormenting me before my trip to NYC? GAH, at this rate, I will run out of money before I get there.

As an update, I just listed a trillion rubellite tourmaline. I love rubellites, and have set several already - just can't see setting this one too.

Sorry I missed your post earlier! The setting will take an 8mm stone, but the garnet in the photo was 7.83mm (across the flat sides), and my jeweler was able to make it work.
