Ok, so I am stuck on what kind of centerpieces to have for my reception? I was thinking of a nice candle with flowers around it, or something simple. But I don''t know how to approach this because I am having a Destination Wedding in vegas (I live in Boston!), so if I take the centerpieces myself they would have to be easily transportable. Now if I have them made in vegas, I would have to provide them with pictures... But I honestly don''t know where to start. I want them to be light colors because my BM''s will be wearing royal blue, so I would like the centerpieces to have a hint of the same color.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I saw a really cool simple centerpiece on some renovation show recently, they took one large calla lily, put it into a large glass column-shaped vase so that the whole flower was down in the vase, then they added water and the refraction made the flower look huge! At night they floated candles in the tops of the vases. It was really pretty, simple and innovative!

Ha! The show is here.

Or you could use the vases from this thread and put light blue and white flowers in the bottom. You might be able to order them and have them shipped directly to the hotel, depending on which hotel you''re being married in.

Here are the lily centerpieces
