I looooooooooooooooove the location. I think it would be nice for you to face the water. I thinking of how it would look on the pictures, with the water in the bacdkground. Have you though og tee-pee torches down the aisle on both sides. Will it be a night or day ceremony?

Thank you! I like the idea of facing the water too. The lake means so much to me...it's going to be a very personal ceremony (and reception!). The ceremony will be at 7pm (with sunset at 7:16pm).

Lulu, I love those candle lanterns! If I could find out how to have them (for little $$$), I'd do it in a second! As it stands, though, my budget for decorations isn't very high. With the paper lanterns and petals, I'm looking at around $50 max.

I''d want the water in the backround of my pics while we''re saying our vows, if it were me. Such a lovely location, too!

I have this British wedding flower magazine that has some lovely blue and purple arrangements. I love delphinium... especially the hybrid ones -- they are thicker and hardier with large flowers and come in the coolest shades. So beautiful. I love dephinium (which you can get in September) with Calla lillies.

Thank you, Gypsy! I just looked up "delphinium" on google images and it''s a beautiful shade of blue! A florist I was in contact with today said that some of the flowers in my dream bouquet will have to be substituted...I wonder if she''ll suggest delphinium. Fingers crossed it isn''t horribly expensive!

Sweet peas and are those grape hyacynths (muscari) or liliacs? Yeah... those aren't gonna happen. Lisianthus for the lighter purple and dephinium in place of the lilac/ hyacinths would be good. Some Freshia would be great...
