Hi all, it''s been a roundabout journey but I''m finally ready to take the plunge. After the months of research its come back to WF and their ACAs.

So here are the four contenders:

I''m leaning towards the 1.248, just because it rounds nicely to a quarter.

I realise a VS2 would generally be eye clean - but I thought that if I''m buying sight unseen I might as well play it safe and opt for a VS1. Perhaps not necessary?

One other question - the second diamond, AGS-4883203, looks to have bigger measurements than the rest (with conversely less depth than the others) - does this mean it will look bigger than the 1.25 from the top?

Have you asked WF which they think is the nicest? Your sales person could tell you which looks the best. I think you are very safe with a VS2 I. I will look at the stones now but I trust the WF people to give you their honest opinion. Welcome to Pricescope by the way.

eta: the second one looks great for the size and price.

I''d choose the second one too

Thanks guys,

I did ask WF - they said all diamonds were excellent and that there was not much difference, so I just thought I''d go for a third, fourth, fifth... opinion.

Are there any particular reasons why you''ve both recommended the second stone? I''m a little worried about inclusion in the middle...

Not sure I can really explain why, but the Idealscope image for #3 really appeals to me. Also #1.

#2 looks to me like a New Line??? It doesn''t seem to have the white that the other images show.

I''d go with number 2 for size and price.

You could pick any one and be delighted.

Ditto. You are splitting hairs at this point. Pick the biggest, eyeclean stone out of them, it will be a stunner no doubt

I like the idea of playing it safe and opting for VS1. Works for me.

I''d also go for #2. At VS2, there really shouldn''t be any problem. They are tiny inclusions.

Talk to your sales rep and ask them to check for eyecleanliness to ease your mind.

I''d choose #4 because it has a beautiful idealscope image, is almost 1.25 cts., and totally "mind clean" at VS1. But if your budget doesn''t allow the few extra hundred, then I''d choose #2.
