I don't feel the gap between the stone and halo is that bad; it's probably needed to allow the prongs through to hold the stone. The gap seems only visible when tilted at such extreme angle, correct?
Can the V support be taken out without affecting the structural integrity of the setting or will it have to be redesigned and re-made?
