Omg did you see that collet necklace that JBG just posted on her stories. You need to make another bracelet so you can wear them together as a necklace. Just saying lol.

I said I had ONE left over... HAHAHAHA! Honestly, I actually would love 2 strands, but I feel like it's too big of an investment in labs... as cheap as they have gotten there's still a lot of them! Maybe next year. I am DEFINITLEY on ban island (i have 2 natural diamond projects out that I am waiting to receive) . So I really mean it this time... Ban island. lol

Oh gosh, if you don’t mind can you tell us how long it is, the diamond cost and the setting cost? This way I can squirrel away some pennies. But no worries if you don’t want to share.

And what’s the back like? How do you not get poked by all those gorgeous stones?

I just love how labs have allowed us to ENJOY DIAMONDS (and thereby life and ourselves) to this extent!

Thank you! I agree collets can be hit or miss, you want them to show, but not look like a pie plate as @jaqjaqjaq so aptly described them! I had saved a bunch of pics and sent them with YES or NO on them lol!

I decided I would do one strand. Lets not get carried away!

Alex Parks posted he had 1 carat, 1.5 carat and 2 carat for crazy prices, so i bought ten 1 carat, four 1.5 carat and a 2 carat.



Then I worried it wouldnt be graduated enough, so I additionally bought a 3 carat and another 2 carat from loosegrown diamond. So the new config would be center 3 carat, one 2 carat on either side, then two 1.5 carat on either side of that, then the rest 1 ct

Sent off to David Klass and as usual he nailed it! It's perfect!

I absolutely LOVE it.

And thank you, I agree about labs, it just allows us to have more things! I dont really see my labs any differently, this was still a pricey piece for me and special. I know the earth mined diamond marketing is strong but the ploy that labs are worthless isnt working on me... LOL!

I dont love my lab pieces any less than my earth mined pieces. I guess for me personally I dont equate the price difference as meaning they're better or more special. For me the difference is the "true antique 120+ years old", so in that regard I wish i liked modern diamonds because then there would be zero difference for me. I love that you me and @jaqjaqjaq are all lab lovers who are also doing a true antique piece now too!!!!!!!!!!! Im so excited for us all!

I love that I can have anything I want this way! LOL! It's funny, I cant do the lab colored gems for some reason but the lab diamonds I have no problem with!

It is nice when you can have natural. I don't find it to be necessary always. I have no doubt your gorgeous bracelet was still pricey! The number of diamonds does add up, the cost of gold!!! It's certainly not free lol! Like you said though, the price of doing it with natural diamonds would be a lot!!!! Too much for me personally. I agree, the lab diamonds are not worthless. Especially when you know your comfort level when you find a piece of jewelry you want to custom make. I love that I have a choice!

Like I said above, I am no longer going with the natural OMC. I am sticking with the lab. So I'm afraid it's just you and @jaqjaqjaq!
