I saw Marie Antoinette had a bracelet like this and I decided I wanted one.

But I dont have 10 million dollars. Sadly. The good news is I still have my head, so I guess I am ahead of Marie in the end... LOL

Here's Marie Antoinette's 3 strand collet bracelet, it's actually a pair, sold at auction for 8 million


I decided I would do one strand. Lets not get carried away!

Alex Parks posted he had 1 carat, 1.5 carat and 2 carat for crazy prices, so i bought ten 1 carat, four 1.5 carat and a 2 carat.



Then I worried it wouldnt be graduated enough, so I additionally bought a 3 carat and another 2 carat from loosegrown diamond. So the new config would be center 3 carat, one 2 carat on either side, then two 1.5 carat on either side of that, then the rest 1 ct

Sent off to David Klass and as usual he nailed it! It's perfect!

I absolutely LOVE it.

Well, i have to say the OMC Lab was seriously EVERYTHING! It was so good, I am glad you're keeping it. It is so authentic looking, and i feel like the new ones WONT be as authentic, like the "test" was what made it perfect because it wasn't perfect... does that make sense???? I am glad you're keeping it! Maybe you'll see a true antique that makes you gasp one of these days but until then I wouldn't be mad about the one you have!!! Its seriously amazing.

@Inked thank you for fulfilling my graduated collet set OEC bracelet fantasies. I’ve only ever thought about (much smaller!) DBTY pieces but this is a whole other level!!

Out of interest, how does your bracelet fare with (1) the collets/diamonds flipping so that the bottom of each collet faces outwards, and (2) do the culets poke your skin?

I think we would all love to stand and stare at your spectacular bracelet for an hour!!! You could probably charge us to look at it by the hour. I've not doubt we'd be lined up around the block!!! I'm pretty sure I'd be needing more than just one hour! Does it feel very weighty on your wrist? I LOVE this bracelet!!!!!

After finding out that there were some concerns with the diamond I had put money down on, I had to really think about making a small mistake or a large mistake. I also knew I had the lab OMC that certainly was not going to disappoint me!

I actually have found one that makes me gasp! I'm just not sure about the color. I'm not in a rush. I don't want to make another mistake.

I might have to have a bracelet made first anyway
I venture a guess you get a few people in trouble!!! I'm pretty sure we don't mind! Either we are inspired by you or we hope to see the pieces we adore on Pre-loved!!! You have the incredible taste and come up with the best ideas!

It's a 6.5", it's fitted but not tight

KNOCK ON WOOD IT DOES NOT FLIP!!! David wanted to make it as tight as possible so it wouldnt flip, i told him i was super worried about taht but it does not flip!! He said doing the alternating rings (vertical and horizontal) and making it fitted would keep it from flipping.

I love that you are not only wearing the most beautiful bracelet, but that you are comfortable while wearing it and not stressed out about it. I feel that way too when I wear my lab jewelry.
It's so cool!!!! I love the safety clasp, it's so substantial and I totally agree with @Pomelo , how brilliant that David knew to do the horizontal and vertical rings. I wondered if flipping would be an issue.

I might need that video!

So you said it's 6.5", what size do you wear if you want it less tight?
