I would like some advice on a purchase I'm in the middle of making.

Its a 5 stone ring using antique cushion cuts. Ive purchased the center and it is a H color. All diamonds are real top performers cut wise.
Im trying to match some small side stones to it about 0.3ct and 0.2 ct. Im being recommended to use some K colored sides, and very light yellows on the ends. K is the only thing available near the .3 mark and for .2 its either VLY or F/G color (again availability of stock)

From face up it looks very uniform. From tilt I can start to see tint in the End diamonds. From a still shot side profile its a obvious tint movement from H>K>VLY and the setting will be very open looking from the sides.

Wondering what everyone's thoughts are. Reputable online seller is pointing me in this direction as they think is looks more correct than using higher color g/f diamonds on the ends. Mentioned that smaller diamonds tend to show the color less than large ones and the small ends at higher color seemed to stand out too white.

Hard to quantify myself because I cant see them in person. I realize H is a bit soft color wise to begin with, I just want it to look uniform from the top and side profile. Advice?

I can see that you already are aware that mismatched stones aren't ideal. That being said, sometimes you have to work with what's available! I recommend the slightly lower color grade for your side stones. The center stone will always be the main focal point of the ring, so you don't want to set it with E-F color side stones that will make your center stone look yellow. Are you on a time frame for completion of the ring project? If you've got plenty of time and don't have a date to meet, your best bet would really be to hold out until something of H color becomes available. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you lots of luck! ;)

Cheers!

I don't understand what you mean by availability of stock? If I had those choices, I'd choose neither and use a different vendor and/or jeweler to get exactly what I wanted (or I would wait until that vendor/jeweler had stones that met my needs). Given your choices, I wouldn't choose the VLY or the F/G as side stones because neither option is a good fit and I wouldn't' compromise the overall ring simply due to the stock of a particular vendor/jeweler.
