What a gorgeous ruby. It's going to look amazing set. As for your setting options, I love both but the first one (floral one) is my favorite.

Wow, great color coices! Finally figured out the lab side stones for my opal doublets!!
Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous opals getting set! Though I have a sneaky suspicion you might wait to receive the belemnite first before shelling out money setting something else.
Correct!!!!!! I spent a bunch on the belemnite and think I might end up setting it first if I love it as much as I expect to.Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous opals getting set! I met a gem cutter through another person and I thought I would give his details in case people are ever looking for someone. This isn’t the correct thread since I am getting an aquamarine and not a lab gemstone cut but I know it is hard to find precision gem cutters. He will also cut or precision recut moissanites so I thought I would mention his name over here too. Once I receive the stone and setting I will add a thread under rocky talk. I am just venturing over into gemstones/lab stones as I feel I need a little more color in my life. I am hoping that $170 for a 9mm aquamarine in the below shape including the rough was a good price?
His name is Jim Buday and his email is [email protected].

Gorgeous colour and great cutting! I think, how much would a comparable natural stone cost? In comparison £200 is a right bargain! Import duties always hurt though, I hate paying that extra 20%

@elle_71125 Here are a couple outdoors. It's darker than I thought it would be, but it is truly exceptional!
ooooh I actually prefer the color in your pics vs the ones Gene posted. I was thinking it was too pink/light for my taste, but the colors in your pics are much more "pad-like" IMHO.@elle_71125 Here are a couple outdoors. It's darker than I thought it would be, but it is truly exceptional!
@elle_71125 It's going in the ever-growing large pile of stones awaiting settings. I have four other labs in that pile...
