Colored gem beauties (lab-created)

@dk168 Hi DK! I actually have a paraiba yag . Yours is beautiful- I love the cut.
The setting I have would be better for a tough stone like sapphire I think. The center only has 4 prongs and sits high. Vulnerable to hand banging, and I'm a klutz.

That is a gorgeous ring setting!

DK :kiss2:

The amethyst is not lab created and it’s about 80 years old, my grandpa made the ring for my grandma. The aquamarine is a vintage piece that my grandma was given to wear on her wedding day, and I wore it as my something blue. And lastly, the opal-ish ring in rose gold is actually a piece of breast milk jewelry I had made that they added and opal effect.

It’s either 8mm or 8.5mm (sorry, I can‘t remember which) on my 4.75 size finger.

I'm starting to see some great lab-created material coming from some of our well known and well loved vendors and I think we need a place to share the love for these babies. So, if you have a lab created colored gemstone, please feel free to come and share it here. :D

A chubby pear in synthetic blue spinel!
This design was an experiment to see if I could A) make a rounded girdle pear and B) eliminate some of the girdle meet points, while still keeping the sparkle of a good pear. It’s pretty large, maybe 10mm wide

I love these colored stones, especially the orange/yellow! What is the material?

They are 6a diamond cut cz stones from Chris cz in the uk. I learned of him from this forum. I also like his warm-tinkled cz. Looks more retalistic for large stones. Like an I color. I actually like the tint so it. Love this oval ring I just got.

The video shows how nicely faceted his cuts are.
