Colored Stone E-rings/Eyecandy

Reset of my MIL’s sapphire from her wedding in the late 1940’s. Center stone is 4.76 carats with .66 tcw pears in platinum setting by Debebian’s in LA.

That setting is divine  and beautifully photographed as well.

It's lovely and just the right size for your hand too.

Wearing my trillion Tanzanite with a small melee in YG today. I joking call this my ‘trashy’ tanzanite. But I love the color and the pleochroic flashes it gives off are lively & lovely. Found it at a jewelry pawn shop auction, has been verified since.
Congratulations on a great find.

@missy - thanks but it’s not worth it. It will be put back in the gem jar. I can’t force myself to like certain gems I own, which is a good lesson that you should always buy what you love, not just what you can afford, but feel meh about. :(2

Well said.

Bought some medium/light aquamarine rough from TMS Gems (San Diego) and had it cut by a lapidary I met recently that did a precision cut. This is a 9 mm Asscher shape in a platinum Art Deco setting by Debebian's in LA. Changes color in different lights and has so much movement and brilliance.

I've had to save the pics for my own setting reference later. Very beautiful Art Deco ring. Beautiful stone as well. :kiss2:

Thank you. I need to put a new post in for it soon. I have more rings than I care to admit but don’t always have a diamond budget for each one. This one didn’t cost a fortune but looks really expensive. I don’t think there is anything I would change for once!

Not mine but another example of some colour. I need to clean my rings and then photograph them.

Here is my newest colored stone. I am in love. Red tourmaline in diamonds. The pictures don’t do the color justice F01EA107-86AC-42B9-98FF-F60C736524A7.jpeg7B846407-1CE0-44DC-B329-FBDB23B364E8.jpegEA2E2784-DB23-4A5A-9E0B-8A93DF4BDE5D.jpeg
I absolutely love the setting. Where is tt from?

As posted in another thread, a 3.68 ct blue Sapphire cut by Jeff Davies. The setting may not be the most original design, but I'm very very happy with it. =)2

D805BED6-599A-4A0F-B749-A7E05F39FF53.jpeg Unheated and untreated yellow sapphire from Gemfix set in 18k gold and plat by David Klass. You guys helped my fiancé pick out this stone months ago and I couldn’t be happier!
I love the yellow paired with the white diamonds on the wedding band !

I never had an ering, it was a tiny gold band. These are my rings with spinel and one with a brown diamond in rose gold with pink accent stones

I had this glowy minty tourmaline in the bank for eons. I placed it on top of a setting that has raspberry rhodolites. Too bad it doesn’t fit because I love the color combo.3C36082F-4531-4904-978C-EE52DFC2C797.jpeg

Another tourmaline I’ve had for eons sitting in an empty setting. I think it’s Afghan, but it could be African too. I forget.

Thank you!! It’s just an empty setting, but I’d rather put the tourmaline in a rose gold mount.

Here’s an Afghan tourmaline with similar proportions, albeit a bit longer sitting on top of the setting. I would like to set this one at some point as well.
